Housework Haiku

Josie at Sleep is for the week has started a Wednesday writing workshop and I thought as time is pressed for me on a Wednesday (swimming with MiniMad), that I would do a housework Haiku, which is very apt for me this morning

Like cement is sets
to chair, to floor, to ceiling
the child's weetabix

I try to wipe clean
but steadfastly it remains
I have to scrape hard

No more will I buy
No matter how much I vow
The children want more

Very true and very much enjoyed - Clever and so funny - I think we may still have some 6 month old weetbix cemented to the bases of kitchen chairs...

Love it, my first idea for the name of a blog was Weetabix on my portfolio. x
Thanks for your kind words on my blog, I will return to these later!

Brilliant! It's would definitely be my choice for primitive buliding materials in the event of a nuclear war/cement shortage. That and dried on banana...

Thanks for taking part! x

Weetabix definitely has magical cement-like properties.
