The big wreaths are just so nice, smell so nicely and make the house look so much more festive. <br />Plus it increases the anticipation!Metropolitan Mumhttp://www.metropolitanmum.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4406383393409112544.post-27453366247929942722009-11-17T21:29:18.550+00:002009-11-17T21:29:18.550+00:00I love Christmas and our traditions make it really...I love Christmas and our traditions make it really special for us. I found the book 'Unplug the Christmas Machine' very good at helping to sort out priorities and to weed out the extras that just make families tired without actually helping in any way. Of course priorities and 'time wasters' will vary for every family, so the book never suggests a 'set recipe' for what works - it's all about what your family is looking for.Flosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18098894367955345944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4406383393409112544.post-18204943734161828472009-11-17T12:25:41.939+00:002009-11-17T12:25:41.939+00:00I love christmas, but it isn't ever quite the ...I love christmas, but it isn't ever quite the same when the children have all grown up and gone! Still I have my traditions though too. On Christmas eve I always make my cranberry jelly, bread sauce and heb stuffing, and it never seems really chrismassy until the house is filled with the smells of herbs, lemons, oranges and cinnamin! We always have christmas dinner at home and just sit about in our pjs eating turkey, or goose! Boxing day, my friend and soul mate always throws a bash, which is good fun. Too many goodies to mention! Yes, I agree with you it is the build up that to me is the most special! Suzie. xxxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17215149035079179279noreply@blogger.com
